Today supposed to be an auspicious day for chinese. It’s Bak Chang (Rice Dumpling) Festival. But today strong winds have blown away most Penang-ites’ mood. It is a so called ‘typhoon’. I’m not sure the blowing speed (will check out tomorrow news). But it is the strongest I’ve ever seen.
Rooftops being blown away, trees came crashing down, cars damaged. Here is the view from my house balcony.

It was a sunny morning. What a day! I was having sleepless night trying my best to memorize and revise for my morning test around 11.00am. No one would never expect this will be the end for 80 people in Sumatra.
