1st Anniversary For Not Writing

Haha… hello! It’s me, back to action. Yupe.. it has been a long long time since the last post. Exactly a year! Gosh, I just couldn’t a find my free time to update it. Especially after I entered the work marathon. Time is never enough. When you came back from work, what is always in my mind is S-L-E-E-P.

Once I have edited this photo. Now, taking a glance back.. I wish I could travel back to time.. when we are still enjoying our campus life. Miss that old times we had.

I can still remember the laughter during my graduation. We say no more to exams, no more assignment. Free at last. But we didn’t realise that it was just the beginning of our lives. Welcome to the real world! No more movies during weekdays, no more cheap karaoke with buffet during off-peak hours. So, no more Hurray for graduating.

Time really flies. Singapore has became my work zone. Despite of the high currency exchange rate, it’s a great place for shopping as well. It’s clean and convenient to go anywhere. Spent more than 6 months over there until I got recruited by another company.

It’s a Dutch company. Since then, my lifestyle changed. No more gym after work, no more gathering with friends every wednesday and no more movie day with my room mate on tuesday. From 8 hours a day to 12 hours, from 5.5 days of work to 6-7 days work. Work gets tougher. However, life gets luxurious. Ya.. it’s the salary that matters. Haha.. Furthermore, I’ll be able to travel around the world for work, working with different nationalities.. and soon the world will become smaller to me.

I am now with my first project in Banjarmasin, Indonesia. A cowboy town indeed. Life here is simple for everyone. Although some live in poverty, they enjoyed their life. I’ve been here for almost 3 months, got sick of the food in the hotel.. really miss the food in Malaysia and Singapore. Especially Bak kut teh, roti canai, nasi lemak, pan mee, chicken rice, singapore fried prawn mee.. and definitely, home cook stewed cabbage, fried mee by my mom! Oh gosh…

Anyway, I am going on my 1 month leave by the end of this month… 18 days to go.. yeah, I just couldn’t wait. Lots of plans…so many things to be done.

Haha… Well, enough for this time. Hope I can share more about my life in Banjarmasin very soon. I hope there won’t be another year of anniversary for not writing.
